2012 CL550 4Matic tranny service
Hello guys,
I believe most of CL550 has 4Matic. When you do tranny service, what are the service need to be done for 4Matic ? How much are those service include tranny service ?
Also how hard to change spark plugs and how much should I pay for independent mechanic instead dealer ?
The car has 94K miles and I don't think they were service on tranny and spark plugs.

At my local MB Indy I was quoted $620.00 to service my R230s transmission! Insane! I bought the kit from FCP Euro for $160~ and took it to my local transmission shop. Total cost for everything was $260.00
From my understanding, the proper way to fill the front differential is remove the drive side axle. However, I've seen folks measure the fluid drained and fill it through the drain plug.
Depending if it's a MB Indy or you corner garage monkey you should expect to pay anywhere from $400-1000 between parts and labor IMO. Folks with WIS can get you a better number.
