The 5.5 V12 uses a pair of small of KKK turbochargers. The reason is because smaller turbochargers spool up much quicker and coupled to a high displacement engine, give tremendous torque at low engine speeds.

Naaa. Your mistaken the 5.5 is the 5.4 everyone has just coined that phrase because of the badging S55 is reffering to the 5.4 liter S430 to the 4.3 liter S600 to the 6.0 liter and the new 65 motors have a 6.5 liter

We're both right, and we're both wrong

CL500 = 5.0L
CL600 = 5.5L
CL55 = 5.5L
CL65 = 6.0L

What year is your brochure?
Do any of the (if there is one for the class) brochures have the 65's?

Congratulations on confusing everybody!

Once more, and for the last time:

600's = 5513cc = 5.5 V12 Twin Turbo
55 AMG's = 5439cc= 5.4L Supercharged and N/A (Technically correct but also called 5.5)
65 AMG's = 5980cc = 6.0L Twin Turbo

No more debates regarding this!
