600 vs 55 brakes

Any difference in the CL600 vs the CL55 brakes from MY03 to present? Im interested in an 03 CL500 or CL55 within the next 6 months. Thanks!!!

I think I found the answer...they are the same size rotors with the fronts being 8 piston on the 55 and 4 piston on the 600.

Correct.

CL55 - AMG-enhanced dual-circuit power-assisted 4-wheel disc brakes. 14.2" perforated and internally ventilated front discs with AMG 8-piston fixed-type calipers. 13.0" perforated and internally ventilated rear discs with AMG 4-piston fixed-type calipers.

CL600 - Dual-circuit power-assisted 4-wheel disc brakes. 14.2" perforated and ventilated front discs. 13.0" perforated and ventilated rear discs. 4-piston fixed front and dual-piston fixed rear calipers.
