Hmmm. I dont like it at all. The best benz is still a 2005 CL55. WTF did they do to it? Its fugly.......
Look at the rear lights...Jaguar S-Type?
Look at the rear windows.......Ford Taurus?
IMHO they've destroyed the CL.

Don't worry guys; I think those pictures are a 'little' photoshoped! Especially the lights!
Only the AMG bodystyle is real and looks not bad to me!

Looks like a hybrid of the CLS & S. I like it!

I thought the 209 CLK was a bad copy of the CL profile. Now the new CL profile looks like a bad copy of the 209. Car looks clunky.
Front end is OK, if unoriginal.
Those big S-influenced rear wheel arches are aching for some DTM widebody treatment and serious rubber. Bring it on!
I hope the rest of that rear end is a photoshop fake. Or maybe MB figures that the Taurus rear window will please the soccer moms enough to give their husbands the green light to actually go out and buy this heap.

dont forget the headlamps look like an rx8 had some bad offspring with a scion TC. 
I hope it doesnt come out looking like this. They have to do way better to improve over the existing CL.

I'm reading the same thing all over again, ppl hateing the way it looks. But their tune will change after they see it more on the road and the current cl gets old. Read dislikes of the E-class when it was introduced, same on the S-class, matter of fact all the styles. People just need time to warm up to it, some slower than others but it will happen.

The current CL55 is one of the best looking coupes from Mercedes. It has a classic and aggressive look that I've always admired.
This new CL body styling looks horrible. I really hope it doesn't look like that.

everyone said the same thing about the S 550, now everyone is drooling over it. Once this car hits the market and people see the final outcome im sure people would love it....just as the new S 550.

Wait until the press release, wait until you check it out in person...then judge the car's appearance. If you like it, then great. If not, well, the very elegant and sleek W215 just became a lot more affordable.
