I just saw the new CL65 at Hilton Long Beach
Apparently AMG's engineers are doing some sort of on going test for the new AMG model.
There is one CLK63, 1 SL 65, 2 S65, and one black CL65.
I am traveling right now. I will post picture when I returns home.
For those that are in the long beach area. The cars are parked in P2 Hilton Long Beach parking garage.

Was it camouflaged?
Was it badged as "65" ?

I am traveling right now. I will have picture uploaded tonight.
It was new CL (either CL63 or CL65). You can't miss the 4 tail pipes.
The car were still being tested with huge LCD monitor mounted in the dash. In fact each of the AMG that I saw are all test cars.
The tires on the CL was 255 40 ZR 19, and 275-40-ZR19 CSC2 (not sure why it did not use the S65 official 20" tire).
I believe the CL that I saw is the same black one that is on the internet. It has Werkswagen stickers applied to the trunk.

It was not badged.
But you can see the 4 round tail pipe.
It's black with red interior with the star mark on the wheel covered.

With style like this, "AMG or M" has become a rhetorical question. I'm so glad that MB is getting better as the years go by, several years ago I started to question their ways, it's so very nice to be wrong. That CL63 has some super natural force telling me to finally buy a new MB, man I'd be such a hypocrite.

Its gotta be a tester, same running gear and exhaust as a CL63 but different body panels to mask what it really is. Probably a stock CL550 body.
Its just like how there are G35's with funny wings, wheels and exhausts running around the Nurburgring, they're really test beds for the new GTR running gear.

The front brakes are the same double calipers of the S65 and same goes with the two twin joined exhausts. Must be the 65 engine they are testing. The rims don't matter as the test guys mix and match as they please. Though I believe those will be for the 65.

I think you are right on that. I heard it drove by me earlier and the engine sound much closer to the S65 tester they had than the sound of CLK63.
