CL65 muffler/exhaust options ?
I enquired with Brabus today and they say they don't supply an exhaust/muffler system for the CL65..
Has anyone here fitted an aftermarket exhaust to their CL65 ?
More hopefully, has anyone in the UK had one fitted, or do any USA suppliers ship to the UK ?
Are they simple back box changes like the Ferrari 550/575 or more involved ?

I know it's bad form to reply to your own thread.. but anyway !!
Seems like Eisenmanm do a pair of back boxes for the CL65 for $2300 (sports) and $2600 (race).
As they're European manufacturers, maybe they'll work out cheaper in the UK than in the USA (yeah, right !!)
Does anyone know what effect replacement back-boxes have on the MB warranty ?? Eisenmann claim that the boxes reduce back pressure and increase performance.. I wouldnt' want $2000 back boxes spoiling a claim for a $200,000 car

Another option would be to remove the existing mufflers and run straight pipes. In a turbocharged V12 motor with catalytic converters, the sound level should still be quite low when cruising. See this link:
