so fast soooo gone!
Well I have been working with Speed Innovations with the ECU upgrades for my CL55. once the upgrade was done...the car became a complete different BEAST. While my car was getting worked on there was another CL55 owner who just got his ECU and pully upgrade done and was nice enough to give me a test run....and WOW! I have NEVER seen a benz burn out like that. And when the s/c kicked it, the pull on the car was just amazing!!!
After my car was ready I decided to take it over to my dad's house (he is a speed junkie like me) to show him the gains....after about 20 mins of driving around he asked me for a favor...hahaha...and to make a long story short. He asked to trade cars (he has a 2004 Cayenne Turbo). And how do you say "no" to a father...
So I am sad to say but the CL is now gone, this board has been great and I plan on sticking around, but I thought I would just share my little story.
Can't wait to get the Cayenne chipped....and who knows maybe a magnum kit in the near future...
and like always...have fun and drive safe!

rays cl55,
that was a good choice...i wish i had a father that drives a Cayenne Turbo. I will definately pick that over a CL55 anyday. it just looks sportier and never seem to be outdated. congrats
What has happened to your mind?

DFW01E55,
I unfortunately still have mine. Well, the last time someone posted a CL55 next to a Porsche, the Prosche just looks tough, making the CL looks wimpy and outdated. My first choice before the CL was a Porsche 911 Turbo...but the price range was still high (better holding value than a Mercedes, that's pretty sad).
My fault, I misread the Porsche model, it's Cayenna, I misinterrupted as a Carrera, than it that case of course the CL. The Cayenna was the SUV that I got into an accident with.
