Your comment about a 4-matic version being a budget Bugatti is spot on. That kind of rwd power is all but unusable in wet climates. Shame as that engine is a masterpiece and would apparantly provide 700bhp and 900lb/ft if the transmission could handle it. AMG could really steal the march on Motorsport as right now the field is open for Quattro GmbH to turn the next RS6 into a unique beast among the German "big 3". They'd better remember the turbos though.

No way, your brother is a writer at TTAC?
TTAC is one of my favorite blogs, and probably my fav. car review site.

I was trying to talk Robert into making a forum, he asked if I wanted to be a writer but I had no idea how the logistics of that would work out.

Yup, he's got about 10-15 articles up there. He reviewed my Z06 last year before they were available to the press.
