have any of you cl owners smoked their tail lenses and got clear side markers for you car ?

I seen them on several cars and they look kool I just dont know how they will look on our cl and also where to buy them ?

I have smoked the tails on my S and I liked the look. I am about to do the same with my CL but didnt go with the clear side markers... I got the painted ones. I got these from Evosport

who is going to smoke your tailights on the CL?

 

I know a guy with a Cl65 that smoked the whole tail light black but left the center white...looked mean as hell.

A friend owns a body shop and he does it for me. He did my old S-class and my wifes CL but did the entire tail. It looked good but this time he is going to do it AMG style and leave the clear.
I tried the clear markers on my CL at first and it looked ricey so I found the painted. Not hard to install if I can do it..
Heres a pic of my old CL with the entire tail smoked. It would of looked better with the updated lights and the clear taped off.
