Who's seen the CL63 in person?

As I am very disappointed in the CL550 and have heard many compare it to a 26k Toyota Avalon and to be honest it's hard to argue that point from the outside. I went to my local dealer on Sat and tried to see the something good in the new body but just couldn't. The interior is a whole different story but it cant make up for the lack luster and boring body styling. I have seen pictures of the CL63 and even with the wheels and body effects it still leaves many questions in my mind. Why should a car have to be dressed up with effects to still have to grow on you?
As I am 1st on the list at my dealer for the 63 I am really considering passing.
Has anyone seen this car in person?

The picture in your sig has a great view, where was it taken from?
PS, I totally agree about the new CL. I just don't think the new style of headlights looks MB enough (even though I do think it looks great from some angles). The rear end, however, is just plain fugly.

The new CL is OK...but the rear light shape sucks.....the old CL was so hot when it came out...the new CL is at best warm and prices may soon drop to invoice within 6 months....but you never know due to the smaller #'s.
I have to say I was a littel dissapointed with it in person, but it is very classy and if discounted I would consider one.

the pinched bum with the (relatively) smallish taillamps reminds me of that weird-looking supercharged Buick coupe that was out in the 90's. In fact, this guy's photos (see the front end) show another possible source of inspiration for the new CL (standard, not AMG):

Saw onebehind the Laugh Factory here in LA. Was debadged and lowered with aftermarket black rims, 22's. Car looked mean. Since it was debadged it may have been a cl 550? customized ? I had to mail a package so kinda rushed by but it was definately better looking than stock models
