Any diff between '03 and '04 W215?
Hey guys-
are there any significant advantages of spending the extra dough on the 2004? besides the longer warranty?

The only difference was that in 2004, Mercedes started using the MOST fiber ring system (vs D2B) for the audio systems. The major advantage to this is the navigation is DVD vs CD. No more AUX input for the audio system either. Also in 2004, SAT radio was optionally dealer fitted.

Thats about it....

Not to mention that the tire pressure monitoring system became standard equipment in '04.

Oh, and the keyless-go transmitter is built into the key and no longer requires the separate card.

that's strange; my 2005 e55 still has the 1/8" aux jack in the glovebox. wonder why they'd do away with it in the CL?

look for off-lease cars at dealers too; they're selling new 06's for so far off the sticker, if there're any off-lease returns on the lot you should be able to steal one.
