Help! Installing H.I.D. Fog lights

Hello fellow Mercedes Enthusiast,
Ok so I drive a 2002 Mercedes CL 600. I purchased a H.I.D. kit for my foglights to get rid of that pail yellow factory color. I tested the kit to start off to make sure it was working and yes it works fine out of the car on just a regular 12v car battery to test it. So I know it might have to do with the resistance which the vehicle diagnostics has. My question for anyone and everyone is...... Has anyone had a successful install on the foglights with H.I.D.'s and if so..what did they do so they wouldn't get an error saying the foglight was out. Maybe a resistor or a relay..hmmm NEED HELP!

Thanks.

I replaced the stock fog lamps with a set of HID Hella FF 200 driving lights. It was the best improvement I have made. It required fashioning custom brackets, but the ballast cables plugged right into the stock wiring harness.
