question on dash butons

I just picked up a used 2004 CL55 and the prior owner lost the manuals.

I have most of the buttons figured out but there's on the dash that's 2nd from left that shows a car with a little up arrow inside the car. pressing it once lights up the front, pressing it a second time lights up the back in addition to the front. what is this button for?

Ride height, increases the the height by 1 level or two.
It's quite handy for off roading!

Of course maybe I should go out to the car and verify my comments ... naahhh.

one more question for you then.

there's a button called "Rest" on the passenger side climate control - what is that for?

thanks in advance.

After you turn off the engine, you can press the "rest" button and the warm air in the heating system will circulate throughout the car, and keep the car warm. After the engine cools, and the circulated air becomes cooler, the "rest" will shut off automatically. It's a nice feature on chilly days when you run in to pick up your Sumatra.

Regarding your missing owners manual, they have been available online from MB as a pdf, and it's possible someone on the forum has a downloadable copy. Enjoy the car !

The 'Rest' button will do the same thing with the airconditioned air in the summer.
