Hi everyone, i am new here and I wanted to know about everybody's opinion on smoked tail lights on the 08 Cl. I am thinking of getting mine done with lucent motor. Is this a good idea? opinions greatly appreciated.

depends on car color , but don't rice it out much , and tinted tail lights are getting as played out as lambo doors there days

the taillights smoked. They look classly. They look like a dark maroon burgundy now. I'll get you some pictures.

I have my cl55 with smoked tail lights. With the Black color of the car I get allot of complements. The one thing about it I really like is I got the side markers smoked so they look black with the lights off but look amber at night and the lights are on. But each person has their own likes and dislikes. I agree keep the mods simple but elegant.

Smoking looks classy and sporty if you keep it light. For instance, the OEM smoking on the SL55/65. If you go too dark it looks Fast N' The Furious.

I would be happy to. I just need the weather to clear up as the car is dirty and the temp is -17 with the wind chill.
