I've decided to get the Stage 1 upgrade. Couple questions about additional upgrades.

Is it recommended to get the colder spark plugs?

Do the K&N Filters really help performance on these cars?

Intercooler pump: Is the Johnson CM30 really that much better?

I do not plan to modify the car beyond the listed mods. It is my DD, so not looking for a max potential.

Lastly, if you have CL55 with EvoTech Stage 1 or 2, how do you like it? any issues with idle or daily drivability. Any other changes that should be made while doing these upgrades... Thanks in advance...

You should probably get Kleemann, Renntech, Powerchip, or VRP mods for your CL55 just to be on a safe side.

Wow! What a shame...keeping stock sounds pretty good after reading that thread. Thank you very much...

You should go with Powerchip, they don't modify your TCU (which is what causes these transmission failures)

I agree and have used kleemann for years and really think they do a great job, renntech has been proven as well and vrp is new but feel they are good.
