nah..youve seen my next wheel

Although I do like these for their post modern, Euro artistry. Id rock em until I felt that they were a bit gimmiky...perhaps until I saw a few sets on the road. If I had the only set in town, I'd wear em proudly. You guys remember when three-spokers came out for Benzo...They were hot the first few months, then they started becoming commonplace. At least here in Cali.
I'm one of the few people that dont think a wheel needs to look a certain way to make me feel comfy...
It doesnt take as much guts as many people will have you beleive to be unique, especially if the whole point is to break out of the box and furthermore, to know that you have the oems in your garage to go back to if you get fatigued with the look. I truly look at wheels as shoes, in fashion, out of fashion, timely, timeless...no hard rules
Forgiato also makes the clear wheel I saw at FEMA and it was the hit of the show.....
Now without a doubt, this is the way to show of your BBK....without argument

i truly like the clear wheels.
They may be unsafe becasue there doesnt seem to be any way to get a set.
I think they have been "available soon" for about a year and I bet the reason is safety oriented. If not safety, then perhaps issues with pitting and or brake dust that makes them impractical. Can you imagine having to clean the inside of a sheet of plastic a few times a week so you dont have cloudy black smooth "plates" as wheels because they are dirty? The way brake dust would cling on to a smooth clear surface may be exactly why the wheel will never be released.
With either Brembo's or AMG braking systems, I think they are revolutionary.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
They look easy to clean. I wonder if they are difficult to balance.
I've seen the clear wheels on choppers. I don't think I'd want them on a car.
Edit: I just notice the crescent piece opposite the big spoke.

Transferred, I thought about it and you are indeed correct.
Irrespective of the rest of the car I think the wheels are quite innovative and unique. There is much possibility with these wheels such as pairing it with a Big Brake kits, slotted and drilled rotors, chrome springs or suspension components and tastefully done accent lights.
