I just purchased a 2002 CL55 and I need to replace the center rear console. Does anyone know how much a new/used replacement part may cost? Is there a website where I can order one or am I going to have to go directly to the dealership for this?

What is wrong with it? If it is a cosmetic defect there are mobile vinyl repair people that do very good undetectable repairs. Do a search in your area, sometimes they are associated with the dealerships.
Other than that I would immagine that it is not that common of an item and that it would only be available at a dealership.

There are about 3 or 4 small tears, each no greater than half inch. I did just find a mobile service www.leatherrestore.com in my area who is going to come over on Saturday morning to fix this. Gonna charge me $200 bucks. Does this sound reasonable? Someone told me a new console would probably cost the same?? I seem to think otherwise.

Sounds like an o.k. offer. I would assume it's cheaper than a new console and installation price.

If you have never bought replacement parts for your car, you will be shocked at how proud MB is over the pricing of parts. I doubt if you could replace it for $200.Originally Posted by RicardosBenz
