Did you ever get a hold of Lutz form Germany? Just curious as he really wanted to buy my car in a bad way.

Larry, I've tried many times (morning and night) calling him but I had no luck getting in touch with him. There were no voicemail nor answering machine. So far, there are a few people have interest in the car but no one has pulled the trigger yet.

That is weird? I had no problem getting in touch with him and he did have an answering machine (in German). Give that guy Brian McGrath a call at Progressive Motors in Pompano Beach, FL. He will know what the deal is with Lutz and he should be able to get a hold of him. He will also most likely know if he bought a car already. Good luck and keep me informed.

It sure is more balanced and engaging car than the W215 CL65 but I would take 65 over 63 anytime. Anyway, a long story short, my wife wants to DOWN grade her car to 63 and stay with current. I tried to convince her to keep the 65 but she says 'no way jose'. So, it's official... Our baby has to go I'm not rush to sell the car so I'm open to any reasonable offer...

Here is a car info.
* Year: 2006
* Exterior: Alabaster White
* Interior: Java (beige)
* Mileage: 19K
* Fully loaded except Parktronic and Distronic.
* Roof and rear deck spoiler
* 3M clear bra
* Mechanically/Aesthetically in perfect condition
* No accident, paint, dent or dings
* Fully serviced from MB of Anaheim
* 2nd owner
* Warranty 'til Dec 2009
* Only 40 (white/beige combo) produced world wide
* Evotech ECU/TCU upgrade to 556whp
* $ 75000 or best offer

and here are some recent pics...

I just nutted at work.

I live in Anaheim, could you take a fellow member for a ride before she is sold???

I have the same color interior/wood finish. but my car is desert silver. Makes me want to repaint it WHITE. GL with the sale!!

Hey Larry, I just got in touch with Lutz in Germany however he recently bought the car from a dealer in San Diego. The price he paid was 85K for a 05 with 150mi. I recently had my car on ebay but sadly it only got upto 66K. Just relisted the car so will see how it goes.

How did you find out the production numbers for White CL65's? I have an 06' with an Alabaster/Ash combo. I would like to know how many (or few) were actually produced. Thanks and good luck with the sale

Too bad He was really wanted to buy my car in a bad way. I still can't believe I didn't sell it to him. He was going to give me $80K. Oh well, I may regret it in the future but for now I still love my car. Good luck with the sale.

Seriously, if it wasn't for my wife, there is no way in the hell I would sell the car. To tell you the truth, I wish the car doesn't sell so we can just keep it. My wife and I came to an agreement that we shall not sell the car only if we can get 70K+ for it.

Haha, way to do it. Hopefully it won't sell. Sometimes women can really screw the cars up, lol. I think that interior is the best color available, and that white is sexy. I wish I had 75k to buy it from you. I would say GL with the sale, but in this case, maybe not, haha.

I really hate to say this...but you should probably take it. Winter is coming...and this car will not be saleable until spring...probably at a deeper discount. It is painful beiing an owner and watching the values plummet further and further. I feel your pain....but the value is only going to get worse.

I have to concur with Tom, Greg the appetite for 65's in the coupe format has all but dried up. 65k is a good actual cash value deal in todays market/economy.

You're gonna miss that car so bad, I say if you had an agreement not to go below 70k, and this is not bad because your car is the cleanest CL65 I've seen, just tell her that you won't be able to sell it at that price, and maybe she'll cave. Maybe try to drum up some reasons why she won't like the 63?
