It's keyless GO. If you can get it, get it. You never take your key out of your pocket. Best invetion ever!!!!!!!! KeylessGO

You'll be like Knight Rider. You walk up to door and it opens, someone else comes up NO GO. Then you look at'em like they is and don't know how to open car.

Actually, if you are in range of the car sensor, anyone can open the car or trunk.

I think it's a waste of time. I am use to checking the door, and with the key in your pocket it will open the car again. If it's in your pocket you may as well
stick it in. An extra that MB put on because their competitors were doing it.
Also if you start with the button everytime you accidently touch it in P the engine stops. Like a lot of extras, not needed apart from when you sell it.

I can tell you that HE is in the minority on this.

It is worth every penny. I hate getting in another car now that does not have it.

Now the NAV is not particularly great. Any Garmin is going to be better. I would not make that a deal breaker like the keyless go.

It is a great feature, and I would not imagine it would add much to the selling price of a used CL, so get it if you can. One complaint, sometimes I actually lose the key IN THE CAR. It is my own fault, obviously, but it is kind of funny when you get to your destination, car running, and you don't know where your key is.

Luckily you cannot lock the car from the outside with the key inside.

Had this happen to me the other day, after having the car serviced at the dealership.

Got home, drove into the garage, tried to turn the car off with the button on the shift lever, and the engine just kept on running.

Was totally stymied.

Tried to find the key.

Not in any of my pants pockets . . . thought maybe the key was still at the dealership. Was just about ready to drive back when I looked at the ignition. The key was there. And, of course the engine would not turn off when the key in the ignition was in the "On" position. The dealership had used the key in a conventional manner to start the car when they returned it to me.

Felt like a real dolt when I finally realized what had happened.

Some toys
I have Bimmer's version on my M5 and I always have to leave it in the ignition when I give 'em the car back. New CL will have keyless go as well and I'm sure I'll have to do the same thing. Sort of defeats the purpose, at least when I get home.

Come on guys, how many times do you use keyless go!!
You have to have the key in your pocket so why not use it?

If it comes with keyless go, make sure that the owner or dealer has the card. I bought mine with it, only to find out that the card was lost and it's $400 to replace it. Its not high on my current list of priorities right now. But I may pick one up eventually.
