What's Up With My Suspension?

Since I've had the car (last year) I've noticed that only my left rear will rub on the tire wall on certain dips.... really didn't concern me as it seemed my friend's Cl55 did the same thing (only rub on the rear left).... I recently lowered it on washers and now its even more noticeable.... no error messages or anything.... car previously (come to find out) was in a pretty good accident in the rear left, but everything was replaced.... just today I stuck my fingers in between the tire and wheel well (when it was parked on a pretty flat surface) and could tell that the left rear is just a little bit lower than the right rear.... I never rub on the right rear.... what the hell is it? Could it be the sensor? Do I need someone to make an adjustment computer-wise? Could it be the actual shock? It will lower and raise seemingly normal on both sides.... Anyone else notice anything similar? I'm thinking it's not set right and I'm cruising a few mm lower on the left rear and its starting to bother me. Thanks
