newbie with a wheel question

Hi guys, just purchased a CL63 (will get pics posted after this weekend). I am looking to put on the Brabus monobloc VI which means 20x9.5 in front vs the stock wheel size of 20x8.5. They do not make the 20" in 8x5. Wanted to keep the same size tire of 255/35. Any issues with fit, performance, etc. thanks much.

Your worst nightmare...
Wow. they should look sweet. I don't think there will be any fitment Issues. specially if they are the correct offsets for the CL. Brabus is not going to sell you something you can't fit. If they do, get your money back...lol...

thanks, was more concerned about putting the 255/35 on the 1 inch wider rim than stock. wheel and tire combo will fit. great job on your car BTW. love the all black.

In general 255/35 will fit on a 9.5 inch rim. There are tire/rim calculators out there I have googled in the past that give you a ranges of sizes based on input - check it out. I have Brabus Monobloc VI myself (good choice, but expensive!), and my fronts are actually 20x9.0. I have a 255/30 tire up front, but I think the new body style could easily fit the 35.

Congrats on your new toy!!!! 35 series might be too tall for its own good. What brand tire will you be running?

thx for feedback. you must have the 2 piece, I have to get the 1 piece wheel which I am told is the one that is load rated for my car and only comes in the 9.5.
