I guess by spending a 111 bucks more I'd rather have it from you !
Was the thread in the SL section about the long tube headers you also ?

We do not make headers, so no, that must have been someone else.

I'm really not in a big hurry, but, I would like to put it on the same time as the rear diffuser ! You could actually just ship them together if that works for you ? I think you are figuring that the diffuser will be about 5 weeks. Want to just send me a invoice in a couple weeks or so ? Whatever it takes to get them about the same time..

The S65 has a different bumper, then the CL, how close of a fit the diffuser is, well, I do not actually know that. One would need to be held up to the S to see how everything lines up.

The bumpers do look diff but the assend sure looks similar... someone park their CL next to an S and let me know...I've waited too damn long for this.

sorry to hear that, onelightmind. you were one of those w215 owner that waited for a long time like me for the diffuser. hope you're fine. don't worry about the diffuser even if it doesn't fit the s series cause once neal is done with the diffuser i guarantee some w215 owner will jump on it. there is only 3 more avialable and that's including your's if you ever want to sell it.

HA! I'm not worried about the money. I want the damn diffuser. NEAL! So what's up amigo will it fit? I have been looking and wondering for a minute and they look so similar I cant really tell anymore.

Well, after looking at pictures of the W220 S55, it seems the rear bumper does not have the plastic insert at the bottom. Which will be an issue, since ours will have a lip to fit flush in there. I would say, its not going to fit, it may come close with modification, but its hard to say for sure without holding it up to the bumper.

Hold it up to one and mod it for me. I can comp you for it. It has been soooo darn long and now I have a piece that won't work...
Maybe if it works easily you could just mark a line on the mould eliminating the lip and you would have a new pattern for w220 cars.
I also need a front spoiler
Will the CL215 front carbon diff wk? I have been looking and they are very similar.... you would sell many many sets to s owners who far outnumber cl owners....
Check this out

They look similar, but it either wont fit, or will require modifiction to fit. Sadly, it is not that easy to just hold one up an mold one. It is a whole new project to do that, we need to buy an S55 bumper to do that. And it would require a 2nd mould to be made. If it were all this easy, we would have just held up our C63 diffuser to the CL an molded one. Its not how it works.
The front lip will not fit either I am sure.... Mercedes makes these bumpers all a different shape, and even if they look similar, since our part has the impression of the side of the bumper it goes against, it will never fit.
The S-class is a market we never got into due to a very slow demand in aftermarket besides wheels and lowering...

So what ur saying is I need to spend another year organizing an s class group buy for front and rear diffusers
Don't deliver it to me... Just sell it to the next person in line or who asks and refund me. I was hoping I could use a little super glue a dermal or grinder and some liquid nails...darn

Tell ya what...I'll hold off on giving it up until you at least get em in stock. Maybe someone you now has an s class with an AMG body kit. In reality though I need a front diffuser to go with the rear....SOOOOO??? Have any ideas?

Man, I hate when people want a part from us and I have nothing to give. I wish I had a front lip for the S, but I don't, and I dont think we ever will.....

Just an update FYI: We should have pics of the diffuser pretty much all done in a week and half or so. Right now we have almost finished getting the backside of the diffuser done, which is just the impression of the bumper to mount on correctly. Next, we will start in the desgin of the fins etc.... It won't be long now till you see a finished part. Even if it is delayed a bit now, the time will be up once its done, becuase we are moving quick....

Onelightmind, Looking at the pictures of those two, they really look close ! Without having the actual measurements it sure looks like a good bodyman could put that puppy in there ! You definitely need to get possession and take a look.

Hey Guys! sorry for the delay... AGAIN!.... We were developing a entire carbon under body and wing an splitter for a formula car for another company and they were very pressed with time we spent so much time finishing that up becuase they needed it done in time for a race. Finally we finished that, which caused us to stop this diffuser for a few days. The diffuser is now top priority again and it will be our next item we will be finishing before moving on to somehing else. Most of it is done, but not quite finished or perfected yet in fact, only 2 fins are showing at the moment. I will not post pictures till it is done. It can be just a matter of days now till it is finished then sprayed with gelcoat. I will of course update everyone and post those pics right away once it is done. After we complete it and test fit it, I PROMISE it will all move faster from there on out. Which is the easier part. It will all be worth the wait in the end! I am making sure this comes out awesome! We also have already ordered the limited edition decals with the serial numbers and diffuser numerical order on them.
