Ha ! Sorry ! I thought you were talking about the sides of the fins ! I sure like the way it looks now, hope you don't have to do too much to them, but, I do understand we don't want them rubbing ! Looks Great !

No worries.... I like the sides too, but the last thing we want is it to be hitting or touching the exhaust on some peoples cars! I am sure you all even know better them i do, since you all own these cars how the bumper is very close to the exhaust on the top sides... we just want to play it safe....

What is this diffuser supposed to do?

How do you know it works?

When a diffuser is used, the air flows into the underbody from the front and sides of the car, accelerates and reduces pressure. There is a suction peak at the transition of the flat bottom and diffuser. The diffuser then eases this high velocity air back to normal velocity and also helps fill in the area behind the car making the whole underbody a more efficient downforce producing device by reducing drag on the car and increasing downforce.

So how do you know your design works and at what speeds? What are the performance parameters?

I know they are on F1 cars but how does it work with a CL?

Wow! ok, you were not joking.... You are clearly missing the entire point, this part is for aesthetics! No one here thinks by adding this, their car will be on par with F1 aerodynamics. This is a cosmetic upgrade!

Please also do not feel the need to educate me on aerodynamics. As we design, test and manufacture aero part for 6 professional race teams.

If you are looking for your CL to have aerodynamics similar to an F1 car, then this is not the part for you, or even the car for you.

If you have any other questions, please PM me, because I feel like you just wasted space for nothing. If you knew as much as you think you know, you would not have asked in the first place if a part that goes on the back of the bumper creates down force..
