I just read this thread and since no one sent payments, they're no longer doing this group buy.

@ Euroteck - Can you custom build one or do you have to 10 orders?

Do you mean can we start a separate group buy for the carbon fiber lip? If so yes, we sell those for $725. If you got 10 people we can do it for $499.

Thanks

I've had this same experience when I was doing my group buy. Hopefully you guys will get it done though, you're so close

One thing that did help is making the diffuser a limited edition item for 2 years. In my project, it seemed to get more people to participate

Thank you. Although I know there are some very interested in this, I somehow sense this won't go threw again for some reason...

I see you have CL63, this is for a W215 body, not the W216.

I'm in for a 215 rear diffuser in carbon fiber but are we talking about something with huge fins like the black series or something in carbon just to replace the existing small black diffuser? I would want the latter I don't think anything real elaborate will look good but that's my opinion. Can you tell us what you are envisioning on this one?

Well, it would not have huge fins, it would have 3 fins, almost similar to say, our C63 diffuser maybe? but of course much different since the CL bumper is a different shape.

Like it said, it will be something a long the lines of our C63 and our E63 diffuser. Only of course the CL one will be a 3 fin design. Here are pictures of the E63 and C63 diffuser we've made.

I think because of the way the rear Tapers in, 4 may be too much? Just a guess.

The CL, unlike the E-class, the exhaust tips are not as far apart in the center. So if we made it 4 fin, the fins would have to be closer together then the E-class one, and I think that will look much to busy and cluttered. So a nice clean aggressive 3 fin to me would look best to fill in that area.

SIGN ME UP

screw it... onelightmind in for BOTH front and back. 215tt with AMG. If we're talking the same language I can pay now.

I would say to just make em and throw the extras on EBAY ...

onelightmind <-------- impatient

EDIT: the 3 fin simple design looks great on the c63 you did. I do like the fins angled <90 deg. like you did em as opposed to the first pic with 4 fins where they appear close to 90... Let us know what exhaust tips this will be for since my 215 is stock oval. I would be wiling to snag some AMG tips if the fit was snug like the other photos. Thanks man!! I would say GET ER DONE. I already want mine.
and if we can't meet the group numbers possibly you could take the profit you would have made off the empty slots and spread it over the group buy... just a thought.

EDIT 2: yep. 3 fins like c63 I'm in. 4 fins or 90deg angles on fins like in e class version and I'm out
