Yes.. those AMG wheels were terrible. First the front cracked on the way to MIR last year and when I had the car on the lift I noticed the rear wheel had the same exact crack in it. No interested in repairing them because I feel they will all crack sooner or later.
Those are not Brabus wheels.. those are Rädenergie R05 20x9 front / 20x10 rear, 3-piece forged wheels.

I really think the OEM 65 wheels (2005-2006) are inherently defective. I also had a crack on one of my wheels and it wasn't like I hit anything too hard. We are hardly the only ones with this problem. I remember reading a disproportonate # of similar complaints on here considering the limited production of these vehicles carrying such wheels.
BTW the new wheels look great!

Tom thanks I appreciate it! I love the wheels that you have on the CL... I find that these aftermarket wheels are much better at showing the front brake setup than the 19" AMG 2-piece wheels. I posted about the wheels being defective some time ago, and got several people who also had similar cracking problems. Very surprising that AMG would let something like this slide.

We have a couple of soldiers (soldatos). If you do not have a V12TT you can not be "made". However, you can be an "Associate".
