Question CLS55 -10* C and PTE-180* thremostat

Hello all,
I just completed a Star -10*C temperature correction, a PTE-180 thermostat
install and a Johnson IC-30 intercooler pump install. After driving the car all week I took it back to my friends shop that has the Star System. His shop is about 30 miles from where I live so the car was at operating temperature when I got there. When he hooked the car up to the Star and went to the temperature menu it said the car was at 84*C. From what I have read on other post it seems like the temp should have been lower. Is this a good temp. or is there something not right? The temp that day was around 85*F with about 80% humidity at sea level.
