CL600 offset

Hey guys

I am looking at buying a CL600 and was wandering what the bolt pattern is on these cars and what the best offset is? Just want to see if my 20" Mrr rims from my e55 will fit this car?

The bolt pattern is the same but not the offset. It's 44 front and 46 rear. That's about 15 mm greater than the E wheels should be.

Hi all, I'm also facing the same situation, What effect on the car's stance would using the W211 offset wheels have? And would a spacer or machining the hub correct the issue?

I don't think the wheels will work on the CL600.

Spacers lower offset, so they would make the problem worse. Machining 1/2" off the hub is probably not a good idea.

Using them as is will cause them to "poke" outboard by 1/2". If the car's not lowered they will probably fit, but your steering geometry will be wrong up front (the steering axis will not have the correct relationship to the tire centerline) and the contact patch in the rear will be wrong. This will affect steering feel, stability, handling and tire wear.

Would you be happy if any other of your alignment settings were dialed in 1/2" off spec by a shop?

^^ Thanks for the clarification about the stance.... I may test fit them anyway when the car comes in .. if anything promising I'll update here.
