Receiving it next week, it is Flint Grey, black inside
Not sure if it has any options, as far as I can tell only parktronic and Distronic cruise was optional.
I figure this is the place to ask some questions, all advice is welcome.
-Where can we get the euro lights to replace the orange stuff?
-What tires do you prefer on the stock wheels, what size tires will fit?
-Can the car be lowered just by reprogramming it?
What else do I need to know? The car has the 7 year 100K starmark, good for another 40 months and 76K miles.

Congratulations! And welcome to the board. There are plenty of experts here to help out, and I am only writing to let you know how wide is possible on the tires, and yes, obviously I prefer wide - it will help you hook up with that mountain of torque you just bought. I have 305/25 x 20 in the back, Brabus Monoblock VI, and of course I think they look great (see sig). I'm sure others will help out with the other issues, I don't want to give you any wrong information.

Very nice!! Flint Grey is one of my favorite colors. You need to post pics when you get it.

What color is yours? The car has not shown up yet (Probably Thursday ).
My sister in law has a E320CDI in flint grey, she stopped by yesterday and I think the dealer had it listed wrong, I think my CL65 may be the same color as yours, more antracite, no blue in there, anyone know what this color is called?
I don't care much, I was happy to find a non silver or black (Florida).

Those wheels look great but I like to keep the look of the original wheels, so I think I am stuck with 275-285 maybe.

Thanks guys!
They just faxed the MSRP list.
It says Flint grey, Charcoal and Burl Walnut, so I guess it is the same color as my brothers E320.
I still have no idea if it has any options. I thought that distronic and push start were options but maybe there were more otions that I do not know about.
The printout says says "Parktronic delete " and "phone delete" option.
Does this mean the car came with everything that are options on the other CL cars? Does this mean the original owner ordered these 2 items off the car, but it does have everything else?

Mine is Designo Cashmere color, only ran across it one other time on a CL65. Curious about that MSRP, they don't have the original retail price do they? I love hearing just how fantastic a deal these cars are used over new.

Pictures in the sig! Take a look at the one with the sun shining on the hood - this color changes on you depending on lighting

Yes, I found out also it has no options. Mercedes confirmed it.
I think I can live with the basic "crisis edition" of an CL65.
It's the engine I want and I like the color over options.
I am actually not too crazy about keyless go and never find anyone going fast enough to use distronic ;-) but I would have liked to play with it..
Still have not seen the car, I hope I bought right.

Also, your car without the options will be lighter weight than most other CL65

You did good...
With that warranty and the color combo.. it is a good deal... with only 194 built... they are all GEMS in my book.... I just hesitate on the no option thing for resale .. it is a little harder to sell but with that car you WONT sell it anytime soon....
NICE *** CAR!!!!!!!!!!

The more I find out about the car, the more I like it.
Factory warranty was a must, I like this color a lot and I don't care about options ;-)
You mean 194 imported?
How many are actually built?
Anyone know how many of each color etc.
With the 997 GT3's there is a registry, pretty cool anything like that exist?

One of the rarest cars on the planet it not the rarest in a 2 year production run.....
not many people know this...
they built 5 times as many SLR's

Wow, I did not know that.
Pretty cool, I thought my GT3 was built in low numbers and there are 5000 build, with 900 coming to the states.
So how many CL65's came to the US?

I was told that my Monoblock VI wheels wouldnt fit my 05cl. Offset was different than my Sl.
If there is a way to do this can someone please share?

Picked up the car yesterday.
Holy mother of god.... 70 to 120 is insane, I backed off, bad day for jail.
Even with new Michelin Pilot Sports below 50 just makes the ESP light come on...
Now I understand. Love the car, much tighter, sportier and smaller inside than expected. Kinda expected a more lazy-like S class.
Yes, gallons per mile instead or milles per gallon, but worth it.
Perfect inside and out, except there is an empty license plate holder on the front bumper with 8 holes underneath it in the front bumper, so I guess I'll put something on there.
The most comfortable car I have owned at 6'4", no center pillar.
