High Performance Green Filter
Hi guys,
What's your take on the Green Filters? Is it safe and advisable to use these filters? I have done some reading on their website and they seem very effective and efficient, but can I have your views on this.
Thanks

Here's my experience....
I've been running 2 #2240 Green Air Filters in My CLK(s) since close to 2002 (maybe 2003-can't remember exactly when), so almost 7 years. I have oiled them perhaps once per year.
I actually have them out drying right now from one of the cars. I went a bit crazy on the re-oiling so they have been drying for about 3 days now in my garage. It would be quicker if I left them outside in the open but there is alot of sand blowing around where I live.
I will put them back in this weekend. I do not recommend drying them in the sun (K/N filters included) as it can shrink the cotton material inside.
My filters are not falling apart whatsoever. I picked Green over K & N as I had read that Green's are manufactured better than the K & N (which have more jagged edges which impedes airflow).
I would buy Green's again in a heart beat. I have owned K & N's in the past with my Camaros/Trans Ams - didn't have any issues either.

Update:
These actually went back in this past weekend and I love listening to the exhaust again. I cleaned my Mass Airflow Sensor while cleaning the Green Filters, so my car runs smoother than it did before the maintenance.
Love it!
