Your worst nightmare...
What might look good and sound good, Might not always be good...

Somtimes you get what you pay for, in this case this car seems to be having all sorts of issues. My car is clean and problem free and I am still trying to sell it for 43-44k and still no bytes, If I have to, it will remain with me till eternity.

its true this one is not worth d money. It is not Certified either. It had an aftermarket pipes by Remus and it also had one of those devices that gives you 0to60 at 1/4 mile times installed. That tells me that its been driven hard in the past. interior wasnt clean either. One of the head rests on the front seed was ripped apart. I drove it over a month ago and it was priced higher at that time.

you do not want that particular car at any price. on the top of that- it is overpriced.

the 05 cl65s have stopped freefalling for quite some time now (6 months or so).

wholesale for a car with some warranty left is 37-39k. retail is 41-42k.

the problem is that there are no buyers as the car is very expensive and unreliable. the abs in particular is a (expensive) nightmare. valve clatter (stuck lifters) is another (expensive on those cars) problem the 65 motors are plagued with. electronics overall have been problematic and still are even on the new(er) cars.

i expect the price to stay level and sometime in november it will fall sharply another 5k or so... wholesale 32k retail 35k

good times for the mechanically inclined to own a high-powered german car.

Do you mean ABC? I haven't had any valve clatter (knock on wood), nor has anyone else I know who have a V12TT (a dozen or so people).

I just saw an 08 CL65 with 11k miles for $115,000. The MB lease rates here say the 24 month residual is 47 percent! So 08's wil be worth $94,000 soon.
