03 cl55 best tire combination

I recently changed my stock tires on cl55 to ventus120: 275/40/18 rear and 245/45/18 front and the car started to drift and it doesn't handle as tight as before especially when I hit road bumps and handling gets better over 80 mph. Are the 275s rear too wide or because staying with the 18" wheels changed the offset of the car.
Any help guys!!!!!!

Is your alignment correct? I run Nitto invos 275/40/18 on stock 9x18" and they run great! Like the wider tire, traction and look..

Have sime size tires as you on the front , as well..

Drifting sounds like alignment. 275s are not too wide. I run with 20" 285s in back and 255s in front. Check alignment, balance, rims... Most likely one of those
