Can someone tell me how to replace the soft door close on the CL500 2001? Is it difficult or is it just better to take to do the mechanic?

I suggest taking it to a mechanic.. One of mine went out recently and I looked into replacing it myself, but at the end it was a job that was more complicated then it was worth and cheaper and easier for the mechanic to change it out..
