Steve:

On your mile run, do they give you an elapsed time?

Hey Tom.

I'll have to check.

I'll be willing to bet if they did, my elapsed time will be misreble since I ran with PS2s and spun for a good portion of the first 1/8 mile .

Someone got a video of the run. I have to track it down. Shows me trying to peddle it with the street tires.

I can imagine....and that was when you were running with about 100hp and 40tq less. What tires are you going to use on your next mile run?

Figuring that out now. Was thinking about using drag radials, but concerned about going 180 + on them.

Yeah, I was going to suggest for you to look into that. I know you are running the M/T drag radials. I found this for the BFG drag radials (read the 4th paragraph):

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....+Drag+Radial+2

I suspect that the M/T's may suffer from the same inherent problem, as they also do not have a speed rating (no Y or Z rating). You have to think that a 9 second car running drag radials may hit 150mph in a 1/4 mile run. The tires are only experiencing high heat for 9 seconds. In your mile run, the tires will be running under high heat conditions for about 25 seconds. I would probably err on the side of caution and go with the PS2's. You probably wouldn't want the drag radials blistering at 190+mph.

No offense to SGC, but is this for real?? Did he really pick up 17 mph in trap speed (from stock) from tuning, intake, etc??? I think I read on here he was running stock boost and stock turbos. Also, I think I recall reading this car was running nitrous.

No Nitrous but a long list of mods.
