360 CONCAVE latest CLS

This is our second CLS on our new Concave5......not the same car.
The wheel sizes are 20x9/20x11. Tires are 255/30R20 and 305/25R20. Thanks for your interest.

The rear rim looks good, the front rim looks flat. They should have made the front the same concave as he rear and brought the spoke all the way to edge of the lip like it is in the rear.

I agree with Rimsta, are the front rim spokes recessed from the front edge of the rim or is that just an optical illusion in the pic?

The rear center disc requires a minimum 4.0 lip to have that concave depth. That is why it cannot be used on the front. You can go wider than a 4.0 on the back but not less. The front uses a 2.5 minimum outer lip. Very few cars can have a 4.0 outer lip on the front.....if so we would use one in that particular case. I do understand what you mean however. Many cars will have to have 4 centers like the front to use this design. It can be confusing, but we will try to picture all the combos depending on the car.
Think of it as being similar to the situation where someone with a FWD car wants their wheels to look like those on a RWD car. Or if you expect wheels for a SL/CLS to appear like that on a new C63. Things like these constant changes keep the wheel business interesting.
We always appreciate customer feedback.

For the price your charging for these wheels maybe you should make a 2.5 inch center disk to make the wheels look the same. They look like two different wheel.

The front spokes are inside the edge of the outer lip....2.5 outer lip. The rear spokes are inside the edge of the outer lip 4.0 outer lip. On cars that can use a 4.5 or larger outer lip will look more similar. Many, many, supercars or tuner cars have this effect as do many race cars. A 9 inch wide wheel on the front of a Pagani, Konigsegg, or Mosler for example, will have a high offset with a small outer lip 1.0, 1.5 or 2.0.......while having maybe a 13" rear wheel with a 6.0 outer on the rear. Way more extreme than a CLS. Another example was the old Audi TransAm race cars with 18x12 wheels front and rear but a 1.5 lip on the front and a 7.0 outer lip on the rear. I suppose this is part of the reason I like the wheel business so much..
BTW, after seeing the 2 cars here in person the difference is not nearly so great on wheels with a silver center and lip vs. one with a silver center and
black lip.

that's how staggered concave wheels are supposed to be, have you seen a stock cls55 wheel, exact same thing. Also with BMW 21" style 128, the rear is more concave than the front. I don't like the black lip though.

You can use 4 of the centers like the front on nearly any car if you prefer. We make as many center discs as we need that has nothing to do with it. It is the physical requirements of the car.
For example this car looks like 2 different wheels too.

They would still be staggered 2.5 in the front and a 4.0 in the rear. The only thing that would change is the front center would come to the end of the lip making them look more formal.

The front wheel on the Cls has about a inch of real stagger, meaning from the center disk spoke to the edge of the lip. The rear has no real stagger, why not make them the same? Make the front look like the rear and its all good!

No 305/25R20,s do not rub on a CLS as long as the fitment is correct. This has been a very common fitment since the car was introduced. So people have learned by now what works.
