Chroming OEM Wheels

I have OEM 18 AMG wheels right now and to be honest they are not in that great of condition. My tires however are great (Bridestones). My question or what I like to get input on is whether I should take them to get them chromed or do a trade on ebay for chrome ones. There is a person/shop on ebay that does this. Or should I just take my wheels and get them refinished. I know it is a matter of preference but want to know what others have done and experiences with these option are.

Just my opinion, but I'd never chrome wheels. Makes them look cheap.

I'd just refinish them.

Kinda agree. My only thing with that is I would need to figure out the logistics of how to get them refinished. Anyone have suggestions.

E CLASS
If you do decide to chrome your rims...it is probably best to find someone local if possible...saves on shipping/if there are any issues with the chrome.

When you say powder coat do you mean black or are there other colors?

Thanks for everyones input. I have decided to go with a refinish in factory silver. Waiting for new tires to get here than doing it all at once. I will post some pics after all is completed. Can't wait.

A Mercedes obviously!
Good choice. I've seen the OEM AMG rims chromed and it looked ridiculous! Detracted from the whole vehicle.

Well got the car and refinished wheels back today. Was an easy process. Only took 1 day. They look great and I am glad I got the factory finish instead of chrome. Thanks everyone for the input. Below are some pics. Car needs some cleaning and new tire need dressing. On the list for the weekend.
