My CL63 is majetic black, and I think it's an absolutely beautiful color. At night it looks black, but when the light hits it, it shines blue. Stunning for the CL. I hope it sticks around, as I'm very partial to this color. My previous car, the S430, was Obsidian Black. It was lighter and bluer than the majestic black, but it suited the W221 lines and was also quite beautiful. Although I was disappointed when it was discontinued, I was very pleased with its replacement. The darker majestic black suits the CL's body lines very nicely, and adds an air of elegance to an already stately car.

We're getting closer
Seems like info and more pics on 2011 cl63/65 come out over weekend.. Now if I could see some pricing, maybe I could make it back to my dealer and negotiate a sale :

@EVO II, and myself,
I think its the Flint Grey, but not sure to be honest.
A black with the Designo Black and White interior would look instantly amazing, although, beige/cream interiors are quite alright for keeping in top shape, not too sure about the white though

Thanks. I actually have one obsidian black, but I think that I would like something lighter. That flint grey is stunning.

With all the options ordered (Designo in & out,etc) it will list in mid $170k,awfully close to S65.
The latter is in the last year of production and is the last real V12,with proven drivetrain,easily modified.
Car is to be my daily driver so I am a bit concerned with the reliability of a new car (63) vs the 65.
Talked to Bob Brady from Renntech and he would rather have the 65.
What say you?

I've ordered too (S63) with November delivery also but now I am having second thoughts.

Absent - We've traded posts in the past on the never ending S63/65 discussion/debate. I have an S63 on order for October delivery and the new engine and MCT trans sealed the deal for me. My car will be a daily driver and "new car reliability" will be a non issue based on what MB has been producing in the past 3 years, particularly engines. I would not hesitate to be the first on the block with the S63 5.5TT as I was with my CL63 6.2. Have some fun and enjoy the blipping transmission!
Also,the fact that these V12s are going to be gone,most likely forever,that makes that engine so tempting.

That 7 Speed MCT sure is gonna feel amazing compared to the 722.6 slushers.
Obviously my sig gives away that I am a bit biased.
