Lowering button

. The arrow is pointing up....I need reading glasses bad. So my new question is How does the raising button work? More pressure to the hydrolics? How high does it raise the car? I feels like I live in the speed bump capital of the world. Also I have been driving in sports mode . As you can tell I just took the keys to the car and didn't read the books...Just drove and loving ever minute of it. Thanks for clearing that up.
On ABC equipped cars you can raise the ride height (normal height, raised one level, raised two levels). It increases pressure to the strut to raise the car. If you always bottom out on a bump, raise it before going over. Generally, you shouldn't need to do this. It only raises it maybe an inch or so. You can try it and see.

Speed bumps are potentially different. If you have to raise the car to clear the speed bump, period, regardless of speed, that's one thing. But if you're raising the car so you can take the bump at a higher speed without bottoming out, be aware that you may be abusing the crap out of your expensive hydraulic suspension. Those sudden jolts from big bumps can spike the already insane pressures on the lines/struts/valve blocks.
