easycare seems to be the only aftermarket company to write contracts for 03-06 v12

My warranty expires in 1/11. The best of the worse that I found are:
Mercedes-Benz Extended Limited Warranty with No deductible with pricing as follows:
5 Year / 75k Miles - $2635.300
5 Year / 100k Miles - $3295.00
6 Year / 75k Miles - $2910.00
6 Year / 100k Miles - $3735.00
7 Year / 75k Miles - $3240.00
7 Year / 100k Miles - $4285.00
The terms and mileage are from the original in service date and total accumulated miles on the vehicle.
Must be purchased prior to expiration of original warranty.

Fidelity Platinum coverage with a $100 deductible per visit, with pricing as follows:
5 years/60000 additional miles $4784
6 years/60000 additional miles $4927

I have it on good authority that there will be no aftermarket non-mb warranties offered in the near future on all s, sl and cl cars. The numbers show that warranting those cars has been an extremely unprofitable proposition.

The best advise I have is to email broadcast all MB Dealers in your area in terms of your needs for MB and 3rd party companies and negotiate with the best ones. Try to opt for a 6 year from date of warranty start. It will pay for itself if you keep the car and after a couple of years it will be worth its weight in gold.
