CL or S star lowering

I posted this on the S forum, but possibly one of the CL owners can help out.

I am trying to lower my car via star and am having some problems. I have followed the instructions the best I can on the e55 page but the S65 w220 seems to have some different steps. I can get the car to lower by pushing the appropriate function keys but it will not save the values if you lower it more than a half an inch, even though the angle values entered are with in spec. Then if you do lower it star makes you perform a load adjustment test that once completed puts the car right back to the original height.

Can some one please give me a quick tutorial on how to lower on S or CL via star?

It also does not list the ride height voltage value range like on the E55 cars, it just gives the angle spec. Does anyone know what. Voltage values are acceptable? It seems to fail below around 2.2 volts.

The E55 uses airmatic while the S65 uses ABC, so it's a fundamentally different system.

What year is your S? I've read that some of the newer models can't be adjusted with STAR, that it will, as you said, revert back to where it was.

It is a 2006.

I can drop the thing to the floor but it still will not save the values. If you only drop it an inch it accepts the values but will have an error requiring a load calibration. Once the calibration is done it goes back to the original height. I also have questions about the three speed ranges it gives you for the height adjustment, slow, medium and fast. Do you have to do all three or just the slow?

I will try to take some pictures today of the screens.

I did it with STAR and it screwed up allignment camber, etc.
You need links or proper lowering module from Renntech and the like..

Trakcar, I guess I do not understand your comment. If the car is lowered by links, rentech module or star the alignment specs will all be the same regardless of how it is lowered.
Can you please explain? The reason I am perusing the star lowering method is that I have a star system.
