I don't know about the newer cars, but on my CL55 there's a small door in the plastic cover under the bumper that's used to access the foglights. It's held shut by two plastic screws that turn 1/4 turn to open.
This site is usually pretty good for bulbs, but on the CL (I put in 2008 since I didn't know your car's year) it lists both 9006 and H11. Once you get the bulb out, the bulb number will be printed on the base. If it's a 9006 bulb, it may say HB4 instead (two different names for the same bulb).
