Hey guys! I just literally received this spoiler 5 minutes ago!! I gotta say, this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Quality is perfect, fitment is dead-on, and it just looks amazing. you guys will not be disappointed with this!! 5 months was totally worth the wait!!

I wish I had a better camera though (using Droid 1 )....pictures don't do this spoiler any justice....and I'm not exactly the best photographer but I will try to post some better quality pics later

and you were right Neal it does look great on a black car. Especially with your diffuser.

I haven't put it on yet, I just placed it there so I can take a picture for you guys lol. I'll be putting it on after a nice car wash.

I couldn't wait to get it on my car so I just washed the trunk area a little bit and started the process. I couldn't line it up the way I wanted to because the bottom D/S tape kept sticking on places I didn't want it, so I just removed the two tapes at the bottom and used the long tape to stick it on. It looks great

Your car looks dope bro, I tried to tint my tailights with tint vinyl unsuccessfully, I was wondering if you used film/vinyl or you sprayed it? Looks great, I'm questioning the spray paint tint due to what I saw on a car at a gas station, turned very doll over time it looked like, I like the very glossy light tint, not completely black, can you tell me the process of yours by any chance.
Thanks,
Pete

Thanks Pete my tint shop used vinyl and they carefully cut out the white parts of the taillights. They made a few mistakes near the ends of where they cut it but its hardly noticeable and I think its better than spraying it.

wow, still no new pictures from us all getting theirs..

I got mine last week, but haven't had time to put it on.

Question:
Is your spoiler alittle wavy when you look at it from the side?
Neal, How many coats of clearcoat do you think is on the spoiler? 3, 4, 6 or 8 coats of clear?

I want to wet sand it a bit to get some of the wavy parts flat.. so want to make sure I don't sand to much off it... then buff polish it back.

You think that will solve the waviness ?

Hows your fit around the rear light ?

The parts never get more then 2 coats of clear max. If it ever fails QC it gets sanded down totally again. What you may be seeing an inherent design of a wet layup part. The resin depending on some angles can looks wavy, and this is true on a lot of factory carbon parts too if you look closely. It may be more noticeable on a spoiler since it is all totally flat, and on a front lip or diffuser it is not as noticeable due to more curves. By sanding down the clear it is possible some wavyness can be hidden. But if you do this be careful, I would not use anything less then 2000 or 1500 grit sand paper unless you really know what you are doing.

My spoiler looks flawless. I'll take pics eventually of the whole car, but its not quite finished yet. This week the hood is going in to get it updated and customized, repainted and then clear bra Should look pretty mean lol

Also, no disrespect, But everyone has different expectations. For instance, we once made a customer one off carbon air boxes. They came out incredible! looks like it was an OEM Factory part. He got it and said it was terrible. We got it back and I must say the parts are flawless, I still to this day could not figure out what was wrong with it, or find a flaw. Also, another example is some people get a diffuser and see an area of bunched weave or stretched weave on a fin and think it is unacceptable. Well these parts are hand made and there is no way around it. Each part is like a finger print, no 2 are usually alike. Although every effort is made to get these parts as best as possible in the end, sometimes a person looking for a flaw will eventually find one.
