I feel you, it was a struggle trying to decide what badge to put for me too. I ordered an AMG one and it didn't fit.
I know a guy, and now I have a custom black Mercedes hood badge on my car. It's really rare, and I have the last one. But I doubt I'll sell it, because you simply can't get it and I can always use it. It's amazingly nice, and you even see it from afar because the outer ring is like a silver steel. It's a little detail, but definitely something a true Mercedes fan would appreciate, especially on a black Benz
