Hi y'all. Member from New Orleans (NOLA) here. I'm trading in my 09 Challenger SRT8 B5 for a 2005 CL65 this weekend. It has 60k miles but just came off of a CPO and it appears to have had all maintenance performed. I'll be looking for an extended warranty, though..lol Do NOT want to pay for the ABC going out.

I love my challenger (pics below) but I'm finally in a job that I don't have to have a new vehicle and I can get something used (let someone else eat the depreciation...lol) that is very nice. Hopefully I can learn some good things on this board.

This thing is a beast! Drove her back from Phoenix, AZ this weekend (straight shot, no stopping) to New Orleans and she didn't miss a beat. I'm sure that will happen soon enough...lol

here are some pics of Klaus:

and here is what I traded out of (Delilah):

Congrats on that beauty, I wondered where that one went. I am looking for one myself.

How long did the trip take?

About 23 hours one way. If you're looking for a great deal on one hit up JP at Tropical Cadillac in Braderton, Fl. That was my number 2 choice.

Thanks. I have been looking at that one, a few more miles than I wanted and no disctronic/parktronic/keyless go. So still looking.
I did test the drive the one in Miami with VRP850 package, wow, it needs a LSD for sure! The poor salesman needed a diaper after that ride
but it seems like some parts may have been removed, etc. Plus hard to know the racing history of a car thats been that modded.

There were a few places where..ahem...Klaus slightly exceeded the regulated traffic speed...hahahah

Actually, alot of the time was spent driving through Tx in the dark and the speed limit was 65. Good thing, too because there where deer on each side of the road. You'd see a big red splotch on the highway and then a deer about 20 meters away... I tried to keep a decent distance behind 18 wheelers when I could. I figured I'd let them clear a path if there were any deer in the way. I would have hated to hit one while driving my new car home!!!

Oh, and I'm waiting for the title so I can get my tag: Schne11 hahahah

hahahah I can imagine the saleman not really expecting that! I worry about modded cars. I'd rather do it myself because if I know how hard I run it then I know what to expect. Somone else didn't put that kit on for looks...lol You know they ran the **** out of it.

What is Schne11?

Are you driving with the car raised? It looks so high.
