Forgive me all , I know the subject has probably been discussed forever but I am inviting comments and impressions. I know there is an overwhelming fad/desire/etc.. for wheels to go bigger and bigger ! The CL65 Twin Turbo came stock from MB with 19s , yes I Know that in the past their stock OEM wheels /tires were undersized ( they wanted that magic carpet ride ) ..until they bought AMG ! Is it fair to assume that the 19s is the best balance between comfort and performance and somehow looks ? I do know that 20s certainly look better on the W215 Chassis , but how much does the ride TRULY suffer compared to the 19s ? I Just got a new beast a W215 CL600 V12TT , and I am debating the two sizes ..knowing that looks and comfort are both important to me besides I do believe that upping the size of the wheels/tires does in fact put a certain strain on the suspension since it was designed for 19s ..I knwo it is the case with the W210 E55 which I never even considered going to 20s on.
