Cl600 Vs. Cl55
I just test drove an 03 CL600 backed up by a test drive of an 03 CL55, needless to say it has been a fun morning.....
for me the 600 was "soft" and quiet. I liked the 55 sound, handling, seats, and wheels better than the 600. The 600 was slightly faster than the 55 above 100, but only slightly. I think the CL55 with RENNtech or KLEEMAN upgrades will be my new vehicle in a few months..

Given that there's no difference in handling (other than braking), part of it might have been psychological!
I'm morally certain, and the torque numbers back it up, that the CL600 pulls a lot harder from launch through about 4000rpm, where the CL55 catches up.
The 55 sounds *way* better though! Awesome idle sound too, whereas the 600 is mute.

Mercedes G55 AMG
will i have driven in my cusin cl55 and man its sick but also mercedes let me drive the 600 cause i was thinking of getting that over the sl55. For me The CL600 will do just cause ive seen the SL55 and SL600 do 0-120mph man sl600 will start pulling away from 90. I dont care if it has a nice exhaust sound or not . The 600 is more pimp u get ore respect driving a v12 and just sayin it sound nice. but dont get me wrong cl55 is beautiful but if i where u get the 600 and drop 10k on rims and upgrading some stuff and also try to get the govner off the cl600 it tops out at 130 and mercedes say it ill reach 186 and get it under 30 sec. so for me CL600 will d it but CL 55 is nice to either one still Benz Power

Timeslips
You girls need to get your CL55s out of the mall parking lot and down to the track!
Let's see some timeslips! I'll take my CL600 out next rain-free weekend, and I'd love to see what a CL55 will do.

Once I get mine, rest assured you will see some time slips....my current E55 has over 150 runs at the strip, Iam a drag racing junkie...so Mr. Dave I await your results.....
