Wow,

I guess not many service there own car. Sorry to see so many in that position. I would hope you could do your own oil and brake services at the least. I assume tools would be a problem as well. I will be doing some work on my 65 and will be sure to document it for the forum.

I can't do much but I've done a couple things like spraying my grille around the fogs and installing some of my carbon parts

Hi, I've had my 05, cl65 a year and half with only one warranty return for a faulty keyless go button, replaced. I changed oil on my lift, changed spark plugs
& air filters, adjusted headlight elevation and do my own wash and detail, also swaped between two sets of tire& rims. Good luck with yours.

I've done a couple of things myself (brakes, idler pulley bearing, etc). Routine maintenance (e.g. oil and filters) shouldn't be more difficult than on any other car. I take my car to the dealer for service not because I can't do the simple things myself, but because I want an expert to look at the more complicated systems during the A/B services.

On my CL65 I installed my lowering module, swapped out the Nav unit, swapped out my voice control module, in the process of changing the trunk harness and trunk opener. I am having my brakes done by a indie shop in the spring along with the oil change.

I generally do everything myself. The cars are pretty easy to work on, baring things that require SDS computer.
