*Sneak Peek* Part 2. Custom Molded Hood

Hey guys, my car's coming together. The bumper got painted, looks great. Here's some pics of my new hood. I think the W215 has a weak hood. Its nice as is, stock, but when you start putting diffusers, fins and carbon fiber everywhere, the hood doesn't look as aggressive. So I wanted to get a hood that resembles the newer SL's with the hood bumps. My guy again did an OEM worthy job. Some pics:

Pics don't really do it justice or show just how flawless the lines are.
Can't wait til it's all assembled lol

Yeah man, there's no custom market for the C/W215 CL really. Glad I can refresh one of Mercedes-Benz most beautiful cars and make it look more "today". Thanks for the compliment! Just wait til everything's done and you guys see the rims and calipers, it's gonna be something very different but sexy

No sir. We have the face lifted R230 SL with the hood bumps. I always loved the bumps. How they look from the front, profile, inside the car, etc... I
got the exact same exact strip dimensions made from the SL's hood. So my bumps are the exact same size as the SL's

Since the CL hood already has lines at an angle, I didn't want them on completely straight, so I got them at a \ / angle to correspond with the existing lines. And they got molded on to the factory bumper.

I'm lost. So the bumps on your cl hood were made from scratch?
