COMAND Navigation seldom tells me where I really am.
BUT most of the time my COMAND Nav has me in the wrong part of town, or 3 miles in the wrong direction and now it looks like I'm in the ocean somewhere.
Background:
2004 CL55
Dealer sold me the car with a copied/pirated DVD
(only discovered this when I checked it because I got a message saying it had no disc.) And I used to get that message a lot, but off and on. So I was patient.Works perfectly some of the time.

The official Merc car history print-out sheet thingy shows that the last owner had the entire command system replaced 3 times.

I have the official Bluetooth dongle for my DroidX2 (works great).

The Sirius Radio works perfectly.

So, I'm guessing that I have a glitch that the dealers have never found and just kept swapping out the head unit (making me think the problem isn't in the that part of the system at all).

What would make the GPS read the satellites wrong? Bad pick-up of some sort? Bad wire? I have no idea how it works, so my suggestions are probably ridiculous.
Anyone have the same problem and get it fixed? Ideas? What part of the car do I need to slap?
