Glass stains on double pane....

Picked up a friends cl55 today...beautiful car, but has some of that nasty stained area at the top of the side windows. I assume this is where dirt/water accumulates and makes nasty. Any solution? Haven't dealt with this, maybe you can point me to a thread, thanks.

very comman problem.. it is the lamination which is inbetween the glass and it always gets that air pocket look

In the UK from a MB Dealer, a full set is £2785.00 = $4,500.00

I sourced a couple of front windows from Germany for $500 each, one rear from the U.K for $200.00 and I'm still looking for a o/s rear.

Interesting. What I really want to do is have all the side glass match the front and rear windshields (both windshields are tinted and produce a sapphire effect on the glass). I heard that has to do with the liquid silver thats in the 'purple' glass to stop heat and such.... Well I want it on the sides too

The 'purple' effect is from the polarization for the windows. You'll only get it on the front and back because that's the only glass that's polarized.

I completely understand that fine Sir. What I would like done however, is to buy the side windows or get a set made with the polorization integrated in them. How cool would that be..

You can buy the side windows, but they still won't be polarized. To get a polarized window made you would have to go to a window manuf. and have them create it. No small expense. Honestly, it wouldn't be that cool to me. Just get colored tint if you want that look.

That's what I was originally thinking had to be done. Like everything AMG, I'm used to not having small expenses lol. I think they'd be the coolest windows on the road tbh.. Colored tint on regular glass does in no way look like a tinted rear windshield of a CL. I can say on a stock looking CL, it's different. If you seen my CL, I may persuade you with my vision

I have a CL65 so I know what it looks like. I'd rather have my rear window black than the polarized look that I have now with my rear tint.

Ahh, well, that'll explain our differences in opinion lol. I want all polarized, you want no polarized. As long we're in AMG CL's, we're both winners
