Water pouring into pax floorboard?
Hey guys, so I have a question for you. I had been driving for about an hour today, AC on low. I pull up to my driveway to see water just coming out from under the right dash onto my passenger floor mat. It was a decent amount, no idea what the heck called is. Anyone have an idea? Thinking maybe part of the AC system resides under there and must have an issue. Guessing I might need to get the checkbook ready........
Wait, one more thing....I don't think its related but maybe....just before going home I had a car wash......wondering if somehow one of the channels that carries away water from the roof could be obstructed or something somewhere and if that could be the culprit. (I know, probably fishing hard here but since it did happen pretty soon after the wash it seemed that it could be related).

You were spot on, that is exactly what it was. Drain was 3/4 full with water. I purged it and got it to rinse clean through. Only had the car 2 months and I keep it totally garaged day/night. Previous guy must not have cleaned it and its sad that a B service doesn't check stuff like that because the car was due to have the sunroof seals and all checked. Oh well, now I know. Lucky it was not a deluge of water. mat is dry now
